If the question is him being on the team vs not being on the team, well of course. Why would we not.
Theres no way it happens unless we win a top lottery pick. He is as good as anyone else on the draft board arguably.

But if he's the best player available when we draft, then absolutely.
If we're adding guards, they need to be shooters. He is not that.

I would argue he has the potential of other top prospects but as of right now he is very raw with a lot to learn. Honestly i could see him slide out of the top 6

theres a 6 8" brazilian on barcelona who can actually play basketball. hes not a #### project. leandro balmaro. mock has him going to celtics. ainge knows.
learned pg skills. then grew. can actually stop and pop jumpers. can dribble like a pg and gets to the rack like curry or klay.

Good thread. I would give up a good rookie season shooting percentage.... Ole Freddy V can take care of that anyway.... To have a couple core pieces have true chemistry from the start. Melo wouldn't be coming to take jrue's spot year 1 anyway

I’d rather just trade him or trade the pick we’d be able to get him at. Dude plays no defense, shot needs tweaking. We don’t need another facilitator
He also just seems like the tyoe that’s would bail on us the moment he’s able to for LA

memphis would probably move josh jackson. he was 4th overall. seems to have righted the ship. looks like a complete player.
you would know after the playoffs if they hold off pels for 8th.
