Aranda is the man to bring USC back to prominence
That being said they’ll probably frick it up and pass him over for another bust
Seems likely.
I wanted Aranda as USC's next coach until I watched Joe Brady coach offense...

yep this is the one opening i hope closes fast without Aranda being the HC...im worried

If Fuente leave VT for Baylor
that would be the size job that i would leave for... not Hawaii or UNLV...
Virgina Tech/ Georgia Tech... etc... jobs like that where you actually have a shot at winning... the ACC is a one trick pony right now... If im a coach wanting a chance at Success im heading to that league.. hell you upset Clemson and your career is taking off... Geoff Collins is going to turn Georgia Tech around.. guy can coach and someone bigger will come a calling (like a Michigan or something) then georgia tech would go after aranda...

Hawaii or UNLV...

I don't think Fuente will be Baylor's coach, per Baylor sources.
Last year Blake Anderson was rumored to be Baylor's leading candidate hours before Rhule was announced.
FWIW it is confirmed that Aranda has interviewed for Baylor HC, but I personally don't expect him to be the final hire

Yeah I'm guessing he isn't going to want to relocate to frickin Hawaii. Not worried about this one

Baton Rouge or Hawaii - tough call on that one. Hawaii provides a way of life that BR and the swamps never could. BTW, Aranda has connections to this job - so you should worry

I still think he holds out for at least a decent Mountain West or lower PAC 12 starting gig. Now that he’s out there interviewing and schools know he looking to make the move, better offers will come, even if it’s next year. Hawaii is not an easy place to win at and they have always trended offense-first.
I could certainly be wrong, but he would be selling himself short, in my opinion.

Seriously. They are NOT good G5 programs. UNLV is a perineal bottom feeder and Hawaii is boom or bust and has never sustained success for too long. There’s a reason for that.

Hawaii paid their Head Coach $600,000 last season. Aranda makes $2 Million as a DC

yep, i follow hawaii football and read the twitter comments when their coach left
Alot of the comments we're saying Hawaii is cheap when it comes to football as well as facilities etc...

If Fuente gets the Baylor job, I hope VA Tech goes after Aranda. Aranda is a very good coach who deserves a better first head coaching job than Hawaii. Plus, VA Tech is in the worst Power 5 conference and they'd pay him well.

Aranda as HC. June Jones as OC. Rainbow warriors would be BACK
Yeah, June is going to quit his job in the XFL to be a coordinator in college. Right.
