Always liked to do a banana, cup or two of frozen strawberries, coconut water, vanilla protein, and ice. Good and simple.

In for this.

I use Optimum Whey Isolate and it's fine, but protein powder/shakes always makes me nauseous for a couple of hours afterwards. I've found that drinking them cold as opposed to room temp helps.

Not a shake, but I like mixing 3-4 scoops with a tub of Fage Greek yogurt. Straight up chocolate pudding (or whatever flavor) that's all protein.

I use almond milk instead of water if I'm doing a single scoop shake. Tastes significantly better.

Frozen banana, frozen blueberries, GNC Cookies and Cream Whey Protien, almond milk
If you get bored with that alone add some PB2...

Just a tip to reinforce what boxcarbarney said. I make a pitcher of cold brew at the house and sometimes add some to my protein shakes or smoothies. It gives it a pretty good flavor unless you put too much.
