World Lawn Feedback
Posted by Molliehawk1 on 6/30/24 at 2:07 pm
My father in law is looking to purchase a new zero turn lawn mower. He currently has a 12 year old exmark 60” cut, with around 1000 hours on motor. He has put the remark through hell. He wants another exmark but someone has told him about World Lawn zero turn mowers. Can anyone give me some feedback about these lawnmowers in comparison to exmark?

33-0-0. Straight ammonia nitrate. Make sure you can water it in once you fertilize. We use this to keep our football field thick and green at the start of football season. Until we plant with Royal Flush rye grass for the winter.

re: 2010 F150 XLT 4.6L AC Issue
Posted by Molliehawk1 on 5/17/22 at 10:54 pm to papasmurf1269
I have a 2010 as well. Has 5.4 in it. My problem with my ac is that it will blow cold air through the vents like normal for about 20 minutes and then it just stops blowing the air through the vents. You can hear the motor running just no air is coming out of the vents. Every now and then it will blow small pieces of white plastic out of the vents. Anyone tell me what the issue might be?
re: Shoulder injury/pinched nerve

Been dealing with the same issue for a solid year. I’ve done PT along with dry needling, massage therapy, and tins unit. It’s gotten better but still hasn’t gone completely away. I’m beginning to wonder if getting a cortisone shot would help it to go away completely.

That’s the only positive. I’m going to seed it one more time and hopefully get some growth. Feel like I wasted $500 bucks.
Pantera rye grass
Posted by Molliehawk1 on 1/28/22 at 10:14 pm
Planted baseball field in pantera rye grass middle of November. Grass was coming up beautiful and green. Summer temperatures hit the week before Christmas and most of it died on the infield. I replanted it 14 days ago and hardly any of the new seed has sprouted. Anyone have any ideas what might have happened to kill the grass, or for possibly getting grass to sprout. Still have about a month before it starts getting played on.

I started having severe shoulder pain and weakness in February. I put it off getting checked until first of June. I have been in PT ever since. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, the pain and weakness radiates to my shoulder. PT has helped but I recently purchased a neck traction device from Amazon. This traction device has helped my pain more in 2 weeks than anything the PT has done in 2 months. I’m so ready to get back in the gym! This is the traction machine purchased.
re: Celsius vs MSMA+6

I’m not sure why he recommended the change. We also spray Certainity for Nutsedge, and MSM Turf or Image for Virginia Buttonweed. I don’t know if Celsius kills all of these or not.
Celsius vs MSMA+6

Need you guys input on which is better. Looking to begin spraying our athletic fields for the summer. We have used MSMA+6 for several years, now our guy that sprays says we need to be using Celsius. What’s the board’s opinion? Any input is appreciated.
re: Terry Bass boats - interesting post on the boats and industry

My dad had one growing up in Baton Rouge (1978-86) ABF 15, had an 85 Javelin/Johnson on the back. Fished many a weekend on blind river, old river, the spillway (Belle River, Pigeon, Sorrel), and Lake Verret. Thought I was king of the world, wish I could go back and be with my Dad just one more day in that boat. Sure do miss him! Thanks, for the story.
Royal Flush Rye Grass
Posted by Molliehawk1 on 2/20/21 at 10:46 pm
I have royal flush rye grass planted in my yard. Before all this week was thick and dark green. How do y’all think it will fare after all the snow and ice? Any suggestions on when should I cut it and fertilize it?

As much as I don’t want to I’m probably going to let it rest until the beginning of March to see if that helps. Just hate not to be lifting. I’m 46 and I know everyday I’m not getting after it I’m losing it. Thanks for the advice.

Slight tear of my labrum 22 years ago. Never had surgery. Do a 10-15 warm up on shoulders/back before lifting, nothing specific to to rotator cuff.

Artic Roadrunner, cool place to eat. Go and do lots of exploring. Beautiful place, especially once you get out of the city.
Shoulder pain/weakness
Posted by Molliehawk1 on 2/9/21 at 9:15 pm
Running the 5/3/1 program. After a week of deload woke up with severe right shoulder pain behind my scapula that ran to my shoulder. Now the pain behind my shoulder is almost completely gone but there is still pain and weakness in my shoulder and it runs down my arm. Took 10 days off to see if that would help. Tried to do lite bench program yesterday and I could only get 135 5x times before right arm just gives out. Any suggestions on what it might be and any course of action to help it get better would be appreciated. I’m an older guy been working out 6x a week for a long time. I feel everyday I miss I’m getting further behind.

Your goals are impressive. I am 46 years old. My weight hovers around 225-230. My current bench is 370, squat 425, dead 475, and OHP 205. If you don’t mind me asking I would like to know your age. Only asking because I am working on figuring out my goals for 2021 and would like to know if I could possibly get to 415 on bench and continue to improve my other lifts as well.
