It’s incredibly hard to unless you’re basically a “professional” who crunches numbers. Sure you can get lucky but your long term probability of being profitable is slim.

I quit playing because of getting screwed by late scratches. Pissed me off so much. I probably lost about 40 bucks on daily fantasy.

People make money off of it, but not you, because you aren't smart enough and you don't put enough work into it.

Yeah you can win but the best advice I can give is to take that money and run.

easier said than done.

The most I ever won in a contest was $619.

but i probably have lost almost more money than i have won off of it.

believe it or not I've had more success betting games than on the Daily Fantasy.

Sure you can. But it’s gambling. The deck will always be stacked against you

You are not going to win big money or anything, but it’s very easy to win 50/50’s. I just messed around with small games, but you can win a few hundred bucks without playing sharks in the tourneys.

It’s not a scam, it’s just hard. You’re competing with some very smart people who are dedicating a lot of time and effort to it

I would flip places with DJ in that league in a heartbeat if it guaranteed a good MLB DFS year for me lol

Find a good site that has rolling stats and an lineup optimizer. You can find some for 20-30 a month but the best is Labs at about 80 a month. If you can put in a couple hours of research you can win. Always choose to play double ups or h2h to offset your gpps. I was playing about 50 lineups when I played and used projected ownership to be contrarian. I made 1 cash game line I thought would be a lock to win the h2h and double up with no ownership usage.

It’s very possible to turn a consistent profit, but you have to put the time in and do the necessary research.

I just stick to daily football; didn’t have much success with b-ball.

I basically only play golf these days. It’s pretty easy to cash if you pick players with a good track record of making cuts.

There are professionals out there that will submit 100s of lineups. Most will have up to $50,000 invested every weekend. Hard to compete against that.

I just stick to betting on games. Fantasy is not a scam, but hard to compete without making it a full time job.

If you can’t max enter a gpp you shouldn’t play it. There are plenty of single entry games. I use to Max the .25 and $1 and then enter every single entry up to $12. Only had about $60 invested each week.

If you’re good enough to be a profitable sports bettor, you should be playing DFS.

You can consistently place in the top 50% of the big tourneys. To win the big bucks, though, your odds are better spending your $ on scratch offs IMO

I don't enter the major tournaments. My friends and I have a lot of fun doing individual groups with just us, though. Obviously the pot isn't as glorious but it's another platform to prove how much better I am than them.
