I don’t think it was F King. Any idea?
These are the greatest moves ever: Wade reinstated, Alleva out, Woodward hired. I couldn’t believe myself reading this.

Oh this was all on the boosters with the backing of some board members. When the boosters are all in unity, King has zero power or influence.

This didn’t happen overnight. It’s not like Lipsey called Woodward Monday night and said “Scotty, you ridin?”
It’s damn impressive how this went down and the lid on it being iron clad shut. In all likelihood, the Wade suspension was the final nail in the coffin and the negotiations started then behind the scenes. They were just waiting for the right time to make a big splash.

I don’t know if we’ll know for sure right now. The reports were that it was a contentious board. We don’t know who supported the move. I suppose if there are changes on the board soon, you might get a better picture.

No idea but I suspect F. King likes it.
I honestly believe he would prefer not to be deeply involved in the AD's business. I think he felt compelled when it was clear Joe had no real clue about how to direct the narrative back in 2015. Since then it seems like it's been one thing after the next, PR wise.
