The state of our crazy assed country

While reading this column about a vegan girl who started eating meat, I saw that she received death threats from hardcore vegans.
I really don't care about the vegan vs omnivore aspect, but how is a dietary matter important enough to threaten a person's life? And these vegans won't eat anything that requires an animal to die, but threatening the life of a human being is acceptable.
If people are now crazy enough to go jihadi over their vegan diets, the crap I see the left pulling on a daily basis shouldn't be surprising.

I have known a few vegans and based on my experience, they are less than healthy. Most are skinny, but a lot of the things that she said in the article were true for them: lack of energy and weigh loss.

I know a couple, but they aren’t the proselytizing type. They almost more come off as apologetic about it. They also tend to lapse back into simple vegetarianism every so often.
