Good job fat man taking your sweet time. Couldn't even give the guy the chance to finish the series.
He also played Leopold Mozart in the Oscar-winning film Amadeus

Damn, he was great in the audiobooks. I particularly loved the way he read Littlefinger.

Whats the best way to listen to the audiobooks? Audible?

i guess I'm the only one that didn't care for the way he read the books. It must be a personal thing because the way that I read certain names/words was different than him, so a lot of the time I couldn't understand what the hell he just said. He would say "puh-tire" instead of Peter when saying Petyr Baelish's name. Luckily I listened to the books as a re-read rather than it being my first time, so I was able to figure stuff out, but it was still annoying.
Again, from the looks of it this was apparently more of a personal problem.

He also pronounced Brienne as "Bry-EEN", but neither bothered me. He did a great job of bringing the words to life.

Those two name pronunciations bug me, and I can't stand the voice he does for Missandei, but other than that he is fantastic as the voice of ASOIAF. It's a shame he won't be able to do the final books.

Damn, that dude was awesome. I loved that he actually tried to make each voice a little different, but it was just impossible with that many characters. And I didn't care for his Varys, very Cobra commander imo.

I do have a problem with how he voiced the Lannisters in giving them Irish accents. Tyrion I couldn't help be constantly think of a leprechaun and Tywin always sounded like he was on his death bed instead of an imposing presence.

For what it's worth, I agree. I read the books first, so I had an idea in my head how things were pronounced. Then when HBO announced they were going to be making it into a series I bought the first 3 books on audiobook to listen to on my drive to and from work everyday. I didn't make it though the first book, I just hated the way he said everything.
