Bands that have been around a while that you're just now getting in to.

Watched that terrible Assassin's Creed movie not long ago and checked out the band from the opening song.

The Black Angels - Entrance Song

Downloaded more of their stuff on Spotify and I am hooked.

Clutch - Electric Worry

Missed the boat on these guys when I was younger. Now I own nearly everything they've done. Checking them out at the Varsity next month.

I'm not sure how I missed listening to these guys over the last few years. Just started listening and can't stop. Great singer/showman up front, and the band can be as bluesy and rocking as some of the great classic rock bands.

Turnpike Troubadours

I just "discovered" them a few weeks ago. I don't often pay much attention to lyrics, but their writer has a pretty pen.

That damned 7&7 is stuck in my head.

Well, that old scene is always comin' to me
I see you standin' with your husband and your child
And you’re a picture of strength, and grace and beauty
And me I’m just a fool in a super market aisle

Well I had no clue, I’d be the boy who, your Momma warned you about.

Same on the Black Angels. Heard Young Men Dead in a movie somewhere and liked it but forgot all about the band. Got back into them when another song was featured at the end of that show Vice Principals a few weeks ago

Same here. One day I'm on YouTube and 7&7 came out of nowhere. Bought that album.

Real good stuff.
