I'm not worried at all. I just figure it's something he'll learn, he probably learned his lesson last night while watching Tyreke take advantage of his minutes.

Demps really needs to avoid the end of bench veterans. Would Brian Roberts win you more games than Pierre Jackson? Probably, but the real question to ask is would Austin Rivers win you more games than Brian Roberts. AR + PJ > BRob + AR as the 4th and 5th guards.

This is the problem. I'd love BRob back if he took his rightful seat BEHIND Austin Rivers. I'm not as high on Jackson as some here. I'd still be ok with trading his rights on draft night.

The problem with trading Jackson is that we pretty much get shite for him because the D-League is not the NBA.

At best, he's a throw-in to a team willing to take Gordon in exchange for either salary relief or a piece we need.

When Holiday comes back, I just don't think there are enough minutes to go around unless they ship Gordon and don't bring in any more guards.

The same can be said of his value to our roster. I don't think anyone is expecting a starter back for him.

He could help you sweeten a deal for a sign and trade, too.

I wonder if he hurt his trade value by sucking in Turkey. If he needed money so bad they should have gotten him a job selling cars for Benson.

yeah, that didn't help his value. Hell, Melvin Ely was a D-league all-star this year so take it for what its worth

But back to the topic at hand, Tyresus is the man!

He took off on that dunk. I was just as surprised as you, especially how many minutes he'd played on a bum knee.

Insane. I've been saying since Jrue went down he should be the starting 1.

It just took 3 backcourt injuries to get him the role and playing time he should have had all along.

Some good quotes on the game.

quote:

“Kevin (Durant) came up to me in the first half and said, ‘What are you doing playing?’ ” Evans noted in the postgame locker room. “ ’You’re supposed to be hurt!’ ”

...It was his first official NBA game since April 13, 2011, but what center Melvin Ely will remember most from his return to the league Monday won’t have anything to do with his time on the court. Not long after the New Orleans Pelicans’ 101-89 stunner over the Oklahoma City Thunder, a smiling Ely was discussing his plan to watch a replay of the game, specifically so he could see Tyreke Evans’ 41-point, nine-rebound, eight-assist performance again.

“I think I had more fun watching him play than actually playing,” Ely said. “And I hadn’t played (in the NBA) in three years. I was over there on the bench trying not to act like I’m watching TV. He was amazing. There aren’t many players who could make me want to watch a game again – maybe Kobe, LeBron and a couple others.”

...“You knew he was fast. You knew he had the game,” said Ely, briefly a teammate of Evans in Sacramento. “But he was in a whole other gear from everybody else on the court. I’m having a hard time thinking of someone who can stay in front of him. He has a football player’s body, a track star’s speed, and he can handle the ball. He’s a difficult matchup. When he has a mismatch and we need two points, he does what all All-Stars do, he goes and gets it. He was amazing tonight.”

I think you mean James Harden would be the Rocket's Tyreke Evans
