I thought this was a small but fun fact.

quote:

Richard Deitsch ?@richarddeitsch 37m ESPN's top-rated markets for NFL Draft: 1. NOLA; 2. Birmingham; 3. KC; 4. BUF; 5. Dayton; 6, JAX; 7. Pitt; 8. Mil; 9. Cincy; 10. Nashville.

This is a good demonstration of how, despite being a small market, New Orleans is extremely dedicated to the Saints.
We watched the draft more than anyone.

Ad Jacksonville is more dedicated to the Jags than most every other city is to their respective teams.

Not sure if Bama is falcons, saints, or titans. I think falcons though.

Na, Alabama is Saints country

See here

And I think it has more to do with LSU having so many players picked than Saints fans being more interested in the draft than other teams.

I'd venture to guess that only about 1/2 of everyone watching in JAX is watching the draft for the Jags.

Where is "America's team" represented in the list? I guess they gave up after drafting a 3rd rnd center in the 1st rnd.

No. They could care less about the NFL here. They want to see where Alabama players go. They are completely obsessed. It legitimizes their program to have Bama players drafted, so they are interested.

I understand it. I do the same thing with LSU players. But, with having no NFL team and no real NFL loyalties, that just shows you how much they love the Crimson Tide here.
