Just got a $650/month vehicle allowance approved by the man. Was debating getting a new truck anyways. What we thinking OT? F250 or RAM 2500? Liking the Cummins. Thoughts on the Duramax as well?

Don’t knock the Ridgeline. Consumer Reports says it’s the tits for suburban people who don’t actually need a truck.

Hear me out.

Use the $650 to pay for the insurance on your current vehicle or pay the current off faster.

If paid off, pay the insurance and gas.

Don’t run out and buy a new vehicle

I get over $700 per month plus mileage. I drive a paid off vehicle and pay a little “penalty” for being out of compliance. In 2022 it was $2400 of reimbursement was taxable income. I also get 40 miles to gallon. I will get another truck if/when the market corrects itself. If not oh well.

That may be enough to cover the fuel.

Just get the 7.3 Godzilla engine in the F250. Stay away from diesel unless you need to pull 15k plus
