Sammy Kershaw tried to get into politics 10 years too early

He ran for Lieutenant Governor in 2007 and 2010 and did alright for a guy with no political experience. 10 years later in the age of Trump if he runs in 2019 or 2023 he runs the state with ease. Just tour the state playing concerts. Baw is MAGA AF

My grandma used to manage a bar in Shreveport and had to fire him for not showing up on time for his shows. True story. She used to love telling us that story.

Sammy Kershaw was born in the Acadiana town of Kaplan, located in South Louisiana. He is the third cousin of singers Rusty and Doug Kershaw.
