A life isn’t a life unless society or the government deems it worth living

Does that thought not terrify you?
All human life, all of it, has inherent dignity and worth. At the moment of conception you were a unique and recognized child of God sharing in the human experience. Nothing else matters.
Not your IQ
Not your birth defects
Not the love of your parents
Not the possible outcome of your life
What makes a human a human is your unique genetic code as a sperm and an egg join to replicate unique DNA.
That’s it.
And as a human being you have a right to life.
The want or hope or responsibility of your parents or government is not what makes you human.
You are a human because of your unique genetic code.
You absolutely should not be murdered because no one wants you around. How is the lack of recognition of your humanity a justification of your murder?

God’s way is not the world’s. I try to remember this when the world/people get dark.
Life is really short and a beautiful gift. Too many people waste it on nonsense. Fighting with strangers about things that won’t affect their lives or is just complete nonsense.

Makes me think of Iceland bragging about having no children born with Downs for the last decade or so. fricking disgusting. Maybe even bordering on Genocide considering Down's Syndrome is genetic.

I'm under no delusion that future Einsteins are being aborted on the reg. I just wish people would do better all around. To the end of reducing the need for abortion.

If "life" was so important, the government would have a national definition for it.

That's certainly true. However, there's a caveat to conception and human life...rape is not part of God's will-- it's sin and directly CONTRARY to God's will. It's hard for me to accept that such a baby could ever be called a "child of God", but them I'm no theologian so I'll keep quiet until someone makes a good argument in favor of not permitting abortion in the result of a baby that results from rape or incest.
