Why would KC waste that play?

Great play design with Kelce throwing the ball...but why would you waste it up 35-14?

They probably have at least 5 plays out of that formation.

It was the perfect time to use it. Now Cincy has to plan for it and waste px time on it. Plus they’ve got things off of it they can run.

Yeah. Unnecessary plays like that give enough to other teams to think about. It served its proposed.

If they use this same play next week, it'll probably be a hand off or throw to Mahomes.

They probably have twenty plays they can run off of that. Sometime or another they are going to throw to Mahomes. Sometime or another they will run a QB draw with Kelce off of it. Teams don't have enough time to prepare for everything out of it.

Because Kelce will plow into the endzone next time. Then the next time he will fake the read and pitch it underneath to the other back like Tebow to Hernandez. Then he will actually hand it off.
