Got the honor to see him play in Tiger Stadium.

Feels like a part of my youth retired today.

I was in the stadium watching him play LSU a long time ago. What a great career and all with one franchise. You don't get that type of loyalty from both the player and the franchise very often!

I was in the stadium for that game, too. Don't remember much from it, but on Miami's lone TD drive, they went the length of the field, and Ben hit nearly every throw.

My friend said, "That big guy is pretty good." It's crazy how good that big guy ended up being for the last couple of decades.

He grew as a person over the years, and should have more championships.
