Cox.
Internet is fantastic and is $86 a month.
What service do we want where I can watch live sports? Need all the espns and sec networks as I watch all LSU sports. I want the ability to record and be able to pause and rewind live events

YoutubeTV would give you that plus all of the other channels, $65/month.

Pretty much any of the major streaming services can do that for you. YouTube TV, Hulu Live, DirectTV Stream or FuboTV.

Each have some benefits and slightly different offerings/price points.

Of course you can also severely minimize your TV package with Cox and call them to cancel. You’ll get transferred to the retention department and they’ll cut your bill by a ton.

Good luck!

I just use a website for "complimentary" streams. It isn't always perfect but usually takes care of me

I use sling. $65 a month. Everything thing I need. I do pay for CBS for the few sports that come through but it’s $6 a month. May need to look at other services or borrow a log in for fox if you like saints since there are no locals.

What kind of speed are you getting for $86 a month. Probably way more than you need. Probably can reduce your internet bill also.

If you only use it for sports check out fubo tv. Had DirecTV for years and switched to YouTube tv. When they went up on rates I switched to fubo and get all the sports I want. I would recommend checking out what channels each of the providers have vs what you want to watch then compare rates.

Edit for fubo spelling

for just the streaming service or in combination with your wireless?

I pay half that for Slingtv and get all the ESPN channels + other sport channels. I have a digital antenna for ABC, CBS, and local channels.

Yes, but you have to use the ESPN App, or Watch ESPN
to view it.

We have Sling Orange plus the Sports Extra - $46 / month. Then I pay another $100/yr to ESPN for something - maybe it's ESPN+ or something.

Haven't missed a sports event I can remember.

I'm using Fubo, and likewise I haven't missed a single event I was interested in watching. Now I will say this, outside of sports programming, most of the content on "Pay TV" sucks in general. This is due to zero new content, and the constant recycling of reruns. This is not the fault of the streaming services, or even cable, although they could probably put some pressure on the content providers. They all may get a very rude awakening once college sports has finished pissing off their fans.
