Just got back from Venice shot a 4 man of nothing but blue wings and green wings. Fun shoot all big wads of teal but saw less than 25 big ducks all morning and no groups of high flying migrators were seen at all. Extremely concerning considering that it’s mid January.

Yeah, it’s over. Louisiana had a good run but the well is going dry

Though not
enumerated in this report, substantial numbers of bufflehead and COMMON GOLDENEYE were also
observed in multiple locations throughout the southeastern coast.
Is that not uncommon? I know some blinds that shoot those fairly often, those and ruddy's. I haven't personally but I thought down south had a lot of all three of those.

Shot my first buffleheads right before new year’s.

My son and I shot 10-12 buffleheads each of the last two years prior to this one at Bayou Sauvage. Too bad he aged out.

I dont think Buffleheads are that rare, but Goldeneye's are I believe.

Makes senes. I haven't shot any of the three, but would love to mount one of each. They are all beautiful birds.
