Says the guy who probably wants Napier, who hasn’t accomplished half of what Kelly has.

Well, damn

I am in full fledge “will see” mode

I’m concerned with his age to jump into the SEC when he’s never even recruited or competed down here

hate this hire. He's never won anything as a head coach. He recruits an academically inclined player from the Midwest. He's old. His offense is dated. He has baggage. He has an abysmal record against good teams. He is a bad cultural fit for the south.

I hope I'm wrong, but I can't believe we are resetting the market for this old, stale, aging, yankee has been.

All this is true like it or not

Other than being 10 yrs younger at the time, you just described Saban in 2000.

What has Lincoln Riley won?

Has LR had to forfeit an undefeated season and a half worth of games? Or got caught telling a player to not cooperate in a rape investigation that led to a suicide?

That covers a few things he hasn't done.

He is the second winningest active coach behind only Saban. He has won at every school he has ever coached

he is 263-96-2.

Actually, he’s won two Division II National Championships.

You know who else hadn’t won a National Championship when we hired them? Nick Saban and Les Miles. shite, O had a losing record as a head coach.

Notre Dame has high academic standards. You want him to recruit ineligible players? Imagine what he could do with lower academic standards.

Saban and Miles seemed to do okay with their midwestern roots. I’m sure you wanted us to keep O because he was one of us.

Nick Saban was 56 when he took over at Alabama. I guess they shouldn't have hired a washed up (coming off failed NFL stint) tired coach either.
