I've seen this thrown around quite a bit. Could be a huge boon for in-state recruiting -- first African American Head Coach for the college, from New Orleans. He's an offensive-minded guy, relatively young, obviously wants a HC position.

The only question I have is this: could he recruit for LSU while still actively coaching a NFL team headed for the playoffs? I'm not sure if there is a precedent for this. Having said that, I think b/c everyone wants him to get a HC job, he basically could probably do whatever he wants and everyone would be happy for him. Are there rules around negotiating these types of things during the season?

Never. No. We need someone with college head coaching experience.

Didn’t he whip up a woman once? I think that might hinder him under our circumstances. Although, that should not be held against him. A man can change a lot in 20+ years.

Because LSU will have their HC in place for the December singing day. Same answer for threads on Ruhl, Joseph, Payton, Tomlin, Brady, Brees, Belichek, Cower, Hallas and McCarthy

Now, Jason Garret gettin fired makes things exciting

There's always a way. I'd take a chance on him. He's been mentioned in almost every NFL head coaching vacancy so if he came and killed it dont know how long he'd stay

I am sick of hearing this excuse. You have no idea if she was sassy, left clothes into her floor or dirty dishes or worst of all could not cook. know the whole story before you throw accusations, she very well could have deserved it.

I mean, so did Coach O while he was at Miami but that didn't stop LSU from hiring him.

When this is the thing you lead with, it tells me he hasn’t accomplished enough and you’re hiring based on something other than ability.
