Venables to OU could also mean Mark Stoops is going to LSU

Follow me. Bob Stoops is Mr. Sooner. No hire will be made at OU without consulting with Bob Stoops for he gave Lincoln Riley the OU job. With that said, it stands to reason he would run the possibility of taking over the OU job by his highly respected brother Mark who has built the Kentucky program. So, why would Mark not take the OU job? Is it because he's content with staying in Kentucky? Or it is because he's up for the LSU job?

I’m not sure what’s so hard to understand that Mark Stoops would have been announced yesterday or today.

By waiting, your recruiting class slowly starts to lose its foundation. No college coach that isn’t tied to a job already would want to wait and would already be out recruiting.
