Sourcing/Saucing Lincoln News

Some of you know, I worked in sports TV and Radio in Louisiana about a decade ago. When I was in my early 20s.
Tonight, I reached to some old contacts. Basically, the reason that you haven’t seen anything be confirmed is because there is likely some worry about LR renege on the deal that is in place.
Woodward and Lincoln have not met. This entire process has been done through agents. They will meet on Sunday from what I understand. All signs point to go. But, nothing is signed.
I’m not sure why TBL, Vol or anybody else are confirming this until after there is a face to face.
LSU really needs OSU to win tomorrow. This meeting needs to happen.. pronto.

That's a little hard to believe Woody is vacationing around without the signature. The final details may be ironed out Sunday and it may not have anything to do in relation to his contract.

I asked the same thing because that’s what I had heard..
But they said coaches and ADs rarely if ever meet during the season. They were pretty adamant that they hadn’t met yet, but there was a scheduled meeting for Sunday.

Your contacts haven’t spoken to Riley or Woodward, nor would anyone have told them, without that news being all over the place already.
