Response from my Human Resources Department

So, as I have indicated in a previous post, I am a recent government contractor (less than three months) who has requested an accommodation based on sincerely held religious beliefs as protected under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S. Code § 2000e).
After submitting my request for accommodation this is their response to me (which covered a myriad of concerns, only one of which was the fetal tissue issue);
"One of the criteria for determining a religious accommodation is if an individual's behaviors are consistent with their beliefs. This article LINK lists medications (with medical references) which used the HEK-293 cell line for testing in their development in the same way as the Covid 19 vaccines.
Do you attest that you also abstain from all of the listed medications from the above paragraph based on your religious beliefs?"
I am working on my response. Would appreciate insights and advice from those on this board.

Just be honest and tell them you use those drugs and the aborted fetal cell excuse is just convenient for this particular Covid shot you really don’t want to take

They sent you a blog post. Holy fricking shite.

I’m getting older but I learned a long time ago to just tell the truth in all situations. Saves a bunch of heartache

I would just respond with "Yes".

Is it tested or produced using fetal cell lines? That would be a big distinction to know concerning the vac.

This is the Jay Inslee model.

I would reply with...
"Are you denying my religious exemption request, or is this a continuous interrogation about my closely held beliefs"

You can fault me for many things in life, honesty and integrity is not one of them.

The list of other medications is a lie.

The Religious exemptions are going to be tough to prove. There basically has to be proof in the actual teachings of your religion that it goes against all vaccines.
So you better hope you've never been vaccinated for anything in your life.

TESTING drugs using stem cells is a little different from DEVELOPING drugs using stem cells.
Aspirin predates WWI because part of the Treaty of Versailles involved Bayer turning over the patent on it to help pay Germany’s indemnity.
We didn’t have stem cell lines when this shite was discovered, developed, and first sold.

Good response. OP is under no obligation to explain his beliefs to them.

I read your OP. You asked specifically about the list of medicines. Even gave their response.
So that’s what I responded to. You didn’t even tell us what your other reasons were so there’s no way I could respond to those.
And since I know your character and integrity are above reproach, I simply suggested you tell the truth regarding your fetal tissue cell concerns.

Respond with:
“Yes. Have some.”

Well they have used the aborted fetal tissue forever.
I have donor stem cells in me, previous surgery, but I’m not getting the shot.
