Basically he offered a verbal contract and if Riley wants it they’ll draft up the paperwork. Otherwise it’s a waste of time.

Pretty sure this part is incorrect. His agent and lawyer at least got a copy of the written offer. The numbers were confirmed by a guy who works in financial consulting, and they don't do anything without a document.

I get it. It was just a contradictory statement. You can't have a done deal without paperwork being signed.
