Campbell seems to be the one constant. Starting to believe it's him.

That’s the only thing that is certain. No one, save SW, knows anything about this search.

Everyone is literally throwing shite against the wall so at some point, they can all say that they called X all along…with 28 other candidates.

If you cast a wide net, you’re always [partially] right.

I was a big Campbell fan but his coaching staff is dog crap. That staff is not SEC ready.

Here is something to consider. The person who truly has sources in the AD office is probably Chicken, and I doubt he knows what is occurring right now. Woodward is keeping all his cards hidden, all we know is who he contacted.

I watched a good chunk of the IST and OU game Saturday, and I'm impressed with Campbell. I couldn't help but wonder, seeing what he was doing with 2 and 3 star players, what he could do with the kind of talent LSU gets. Idk how he is on long-term vision though, and I think LSU really needs that - a coach with a 10-year plan with season-by season adjustments as opposed to a season-by-season coach who makes adjustments with no thought toward the long-term plan.

I think Jones deserves real consideration to be retained, considering what how the defense has played. I don't know much about Campbell's OC other than that he came with him from Toledo, but in the second half against OU he seemed to be calling good plays that put them in good positions. Ultimately they didn't have the talent to execute on a difficult 4th down - but that game was very close to going to OT.

I wondering if its Petersen. Not much said about him. Who knows he might want to get back in coaching and Woodward already hired him once.

I believe the Riley offer is legit.
$96M/8yr

It lines up with Mel Tucker's outrageous extension for 9.5M/yr. It explains Jimbo's quick reaction to not being interested in the LSU job anymore(bc he didn't get offered 12M/yr). It's a realistic number that would lure Riley away from OU.

You mean we’ll lose out on some unproven flavor of the month and still win a national title 3 years later? Oh the travesty
