I'm under no delusions that he returns for his senior year but I would have to think that it's not as high as originally anticipated after a great true freshman year.

It's the blueprint of LF7.
Great freshman year and everything goes downhill after that.

My main take away from this year with Sting:
UCLA 2nd or 3rd qtr, his half-hearted attempt at a tackle near the side line around the 25 yard line and the dude scores a TD.

Are you talking about the play where he was in coverage on the opposite side of the field and ran about 70-75 yards to even be in position to make the tackle?

Um... LF7 had over 2000 all purpose yards his sophomore year.

Idk why, but this makes me picture you pouting about how people feel about Stingley quitting, in your man cave while your kids and wife sit in the living room hoping you'll show them affection.

He is physically gifted and the nfl looks at that potential plus his outstanding freshman season. He will be the first CB off the board.

You guys did this same shite with Chase and he's doing just fine.

the difference is that Stingley is now starting to build up a history of being injury prone.

will that matter come draft day?
who the hell knows.

Stingley had a great 2019 followed by 2 underwhelming seasons plagued with injuries.

Underwelming to who? Last year Stingley allowed only 1 single pass completion over 15 yards, the circus catch by Smith

The only thing that may hurt his draft stock is questions about his health. Without those questions, and even with, I don't see how he gets out of the top 10-15 picks. He's a remarkable talent.

His father is very offputting and NFL franchises are going to be put off by that

LOL.....right off the top of my head, John Elway and Eli Manning and their fathers dictated to the NFL where they would play. Stingley doesn't have any baggage and there is almost no way he slips out of the top 15 more less the 1st round. There is no way NFL teams care about Stingley's father.
