I have no problem admitting that watching Sly's hat shift all over his head in every imaginable direction was easily one of the most mesmerizing things I saw on tv last night

That hat got a fricking workout last night

The guy looks like a joke out there. I think his suit fits. It will take a miracle for him to ever get that program to the upper half of the SEC.

They call Miles The Hat.

They should call Croom The Lid.

Sly's wife must be really pleased with him at night cause the man don't do nothing fast.

The Moo State fans next to us were livid when he let 2+ minutes run off the clock with good field position at the end of the half.

Even at the end of the 3rd through most of the 4th quarter you would have thought the bulldogs were ahead the way they milked the clock.

I just pray the rainbow coalition can pressure the SEC and MSU enough to keep Sly in StarkVegas baby! The SECW is already tough, dont need some young upstart winning at MSU.

You can tell just watching him that the man is: old, tired, and just doesn't exude confidence. If I was a MSU supporter/fan/alumni I would have been very upset with his coaching decisions/performance last night.

That being said, I hope he stays at MSU for many years. Thanks for another win Sly Croom!!

LOL, yes, Sly Croom is becoming a real friend of the LSU program. Here's to a long tenure at MSU.

About not opening it up before the half. Not sure if it was a good decision or not but, one thing that really ticks me off is this. EVERY ANNOUNCER AND COLOR ANALYST IS ALWAYS AN EXPERT OF TIME MANAGEMENT. It never fails. They always critisize coaches for using and not using time outs etc. Often, they don't realize why teams are doing what they're doing. THEY ALL PISS ME OFF.

That stupid hat, pot belly, and arthritic gait make him look like Fred Sanford. It might help his position if he were to actually look "professional" on the sideline instead of some old man who looks like he's stumbling about while muttering to himself.

I like Sly, I think he does very well for what he is given at Miss State. I mean maybe my opinion of him would be different if they were a perrenial powerhouse but he is a seemingly nice guy and can coach pretty well, a la last year. Although it was strange how he ended the first half.

I was thinking the same thing!

When I saw this pic last night, I imagined that Sly was asking Les for tips on how he keeps his hat so stiff and straight.

He looks sloppy. The guy tries, I really feel bad for him.

bullshite!!! The ball was on the 38-40 with over a minute left with 3 T outs...He was telling his assistants no lets run it out. I would have been pissed too.

He told him that a hat needs a good superstructure! I think Fowler is still laughing about that one...
