I watched it over the Thanksgiving holiday. I enjoyed it very much, however here are some of my criticisms:

It was probably a little too long (but not a big deal when your talking about watching LSU related stuff)

As much as I like John Goodman as an actor, his lines were definitely over the top cheessy--of course blame the guy who wrote the script.

I was disappointed that there wasn't more behind the scenes info on Mike the Tiger.

There were way too many dizzingly overhead shots of Tiger Stadium, after awhile I thought they were just looping the same footage over and over.

Think they were too kind to Curley Hallman.

These are somewhat minor complaints. I would definitely recommend any LSU die-hard fan should watch it.

LSU Freak you've outdone yourself!! Freakin' hilarious!
That is disturbingly funny--and I love it!!
Hell yessssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If last Saturday is his idea of play calling--the man has got to go after the end of the season!!

Anybody over what we got now!!!

After watching his play calling in the game this last weekend against La Tech--he's got to go after the end of this season!!!
I would rather be in the sugar bowl--I always love that home field advantage!! You know other teams just hate playing LSU in New Orleans!! :geauxtigers: I still have a bad taste after the Cap One lost to Iowa. Myself, my wife, and my brother took that long drive from dallas/fort worth to attend that game. It was very disappointing. The best thing about the game was the beautiful weather and we had sideline passes for the third quarter. :geauxtigers:

That all being said I predicted a 9-3 regular season in the summer. and I still feel that will be the numbers here in a couple of weeks. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong--but if we play Ole Piss like we did La Tech--we're gonna lose

Thanks Jolly Green Giant, I didn't know that--I knew there must be some kind of reason.

LSU vs Tulane in 2009

Posted by Book em Dano on 12/26/08 at 9:58 am
I know it's a long way off, but I was going to be in New Orleans the last week in October 2009 and I thought I would attend the LSU vs Tulane game, however the schedule at LSUsports.net has the game being played in Baton Rouge.

My question is--Isn't this game supposed to be played in New Orleans in 09? Anyone know if this is just a typo on the sports webpage, or has the game been moved to Baton Rouge for some reason.

Thanks in advance on any info.

GEAUX Tigers!!! Beat the Jackets!!!!!!!!

You can tell just watching him that the man is: old, tired, and just doesn't exude confidence. If I was a MSU supporter/fan/alumni I would have been very upset with his coaching decisions/performance last night.

That being said, I hope he stays at MSU for many years. Thanks for another win Sly Croom!!

I live in Fort Worth, Texas and I usually only have the opportunity to travel to Tiger Stadium for a game once a year, occassionally twice. I personally am gonna make the most of my time there and stay for the whole game.

When the game is over and I do leave the stadium, I take my time walking back to the car. The wife and I will than sit in the car and listen to the the post game radio shows while we wait for the crowd and line of cars to go by and thin out.

We will also talk about our day on campus and the crazy people we saw, talk about the team and the rest of the seson, etc.

I've never felt like we had to rush out and compete with others to see how quick we could get back to the highway or our hotel.

That being said I will never lecture those that leave early--I don't know what their reasoning is so I will not presume to know.

TheDoc (Duke Fan)

What ever happened to the railroaded Duke Lacrosse players, are they back on the team? or did they say Screw you administration!

I hope the overzealous prosecuter was fired!!
We struggled in the first half, didn't look focused, but second half was all LSU. I don't really like the LSU vs Tulane series, I know the reasons we have it, but in my opinion it does not do LSU any good.

I like your flying spaghetti monster!!
