Hollow points are safer! Utter disregard for life shooting FMJ rounds as opposed to hollow points!

That is the theme on Twitter. Absolutely astounding how ignorant these people are.

I’d rather get shot with FMJ than a hollow point

Word is these cartridges were particularly dangerous as they contained an explosive powder

I also read on Mother Jones that it was a SEMIAUTOMATIC weapon?? What are children doing with these war machines?

I had some Black Talons, but decided to trade for a box of full metals because they’re bad arse and sound cool....

Biden fault. He wanted a shotgun but China was out of them.
Likely wouldn’t have needed all 8 shots. Saved ammo.

Hearing Binger trying to testify about different types of bullets was aggravating as hell. First, prosecutors shouldn't be testifying. Second, damn near everything he said was incorrect, but because he wasn't a witness--no one got to cross examine him.
Based on his testimonly, it seems Binger's only knowledge of "full metal jacket bullets" comes from the movie title. Comes from a war movie, so must be super scary!!

I wonder how Kubrick would feel about a politician/lawyer using his film in a lie to try and "scare" up a potential headlines. it's really the only connection that average/non-gun owning Americans have to the phrase 'full metal jacket'
Posted on 11/16/21 at 11:28 pm to TomBuchanan
I’ve never owned a gun but I thought a hollow point was the most nefarious and lethal
