It's obviously best if they draw tomorrow, but frick it, I hope Canada wins and the Mexican implosion delivers.

I wonder if theres too much snow if they try to get it called off. I remember Snow Classico the officials kept trying to call it off but the Ticos actually wanted to play. I definitely see the Mexicans doing the opposite

Brilliant psychological warfare from the Canadians.
Most of the Mexican players have probably never seen real snow in their lives, let alone played in it. For them, it might as well be like playing on a different planet. There aren’t enough long-sleeve jerseys in the world to be comfortable in 18-degree weather.
I expect Tata to be fired if Mexico loses. FMF always has a short leash with coaches. It’s been forever since one actually finished a whole cycle.

We have about a foot and a half to two foot snow drifts right now
Can’t imagine being a Mexican player at the hotel watching the blizzard right now.
The wind is absolutely insane, it’s going to feel about -25. This is amazing.

Estadio Iceteca!!!
I'm loving it. May set up to record the game just to watch it and smile when its a bad day.

Do you work in the oil industry? Is Edmonton a nice place? Always thought it would be interesting to live that far north

I don’t work in Oil and Gas but the majority of my family and friends do. I’ve had some of my buddies do really well up north in Fort McMurray in the Oil Sands.
I’ve lived in the area for a while now and lived in Calgary for about a decade prior to that. Edmonton is a better place to raise kids, more of a blue collar town, more things to do in the city. Calgary has better access to the mountains and a bit better weather.
The weather is shitty about 4-6 months of the year (the snow likely won’t melt until about March/April now). The last few years have been better where it’s average around -5 to -10 C (23-50F) but then we get a cold snap of about -30 to -40 C (-22 to -40F) for a few weeks. Summer is fun though, lots of lakes, golf courses and camping up here. Lots of wilderness.

Alberta is nice. I prefer Calgary to Edmonton, but both have great people and Canadian women are criminally underrated.
Yes, it does get cold and snow alot. But see, Canadian women.

Don’t be surprised if she asks if it has a toque on it or not though.
