I would support the new coach if he decided to keep him.

However, I wouldn't hire Peetz as OC of a high school team.

I wouldn't want him to coach my sons flag football team.

He probably won't get retained by a new coach

If it’s Aranda, I could see him being retained, either as DC or safeties coach (or both)

Aranda would probably keep him but I imagine that’s it

Peetz is probably O’s worst hire and he made some bad ones, especially when you consider what was at stage for him.

Yeah Pelini was a disaster too but at least he had a good track record as a DC at one point

Peetz was a fricking RB coach he hired because he spent one year working with Brady….and you paid a premium for him.

No, if you're shelling out the type of cash that's been rumored, you have to trust that guy to bring in his own staff.

If he decided of his own volition to keep on someone great but in no way should it be suggested that they'd like him to keep anyone on.

It’s so obvious that some of you have been damaged by the defensive performance post Aranda in Baton Rouge and y’all think what you’re seeing is somehow great

What Daronte is doing is not something special. It’s not even good defense

So we are settling? Has he improved yes?

Did it still take him 7 games to figure out we could blitz, Yes? That alone still makes him unqualified. I hope he gets a shot to coach as a DC somewhere else and build his career, but not at LSU.

You are also probably comparing him to Peetz. Not a far comparison. Team still got abused by several not good teams (UCLA, Auburn).

Aranda probably brings over his DC from Baylor, Ron Roberts. He’s a mentor who Aranda served as DC under at Delta State.

Roberts is Aranda’s dc and Aranda considers him a mentor
Also Roberts is a first class dc

You mean the guy that finally realized after 8 games that we can blitz?

You are retarded if you don’t think that O controlled his hand on what defense to run

No,no and no.

Defense was asleep all season, players are playing for pride. LSU had a lot of returning experience, was ranked lower than 85th all year long.

Get him an Uber.

And blitzing hasn’t been the only changes after the bye week. Different schemes, fronts, and coverages.

It’s not just zero blitz and double A gap blitz, not to mention he’s doing it with half the starters missing.
