Joe should've have made Dave Aranda HC. We had him in our backyard. Royal frick up.

I don't like revisionist history. If Aranda was so obvious then, he would currently be the LSU head coach.

I disagree with this. We’ll never know how much of that was Aranda anyway. Everything fell apart when he left. Kind of ironic.

Aranda has a weak gumbo game and can't boil crawfish. He would have never landed Burrow.

Joe Alleva is an accomplished man:
1. He accomplished a complete shutdown of the Duke Lacrosse team after false allegations.
2. He accomplished losing football home games. (The team didn’t lose, the whole game went away).
3. He mishandled the Les Miles situation horribly, leaked it to the press weekly, which drummed up support for Les. Had to keep him another year then fired him after 2 very close losses the next year…. This made the LSU job less desirable for big name coaches.
4. He named Ed O the interim instead of Aranda.
5. He failed to bring in any of his targeted coaches and gave it to O. (Which did result in the best season ever

Had Alleva hired Aranda, as opposed to Ed O, there would have been no Joe Burrow, no 2019 Natty, and no greatest college football team in history.

You can add all the Title IX stuff to his resume now.
The only good thing he did was hire Will Wade and he tried to massively screw that up after the fact.
