With Miller this team had final 4 potential. Without him I hope they can get consistent outside shooting somewhere. It’ll be a fun season

Yea I am not worried about the teams overall scoring but I think to take down some of the better teams in the country they are either going to have to hit some 3s or absolutely destroy the offensive glass(Seems like this is the plan)

and if they can continue to play defense with intensity that wouldn't hurt.

We have the big boys to really play with a lot of big teams inside. I am ready to see a game close in the 2nd half and who we will be going to to score when we absolutely have to. Some of Days game shows me he has worked on his driving and pulling up so he may be who gets the ball in crunch time.

I was unaware that they took offensive and defensive rebounding out of the game this year.

I think Pinson is a key piece to this team. I was impressed with what I saw with him running the point. Miller no doubt would've been soo nice to have. Maybe Justice can get back soon enough to give you a little something this year because depth will likely be needed at some point (injuries happen).

Also interested to see if Reid has a big game tonight against a better opponent. I pegged him as an 8-10 ppg player as a freshman, but he may be a little more impactful than I thought.

I think this team's half court game could be better if the offensive sets go through Reid down low. Love having a true back to the basket scoring threat on the blocks.

Yep, having Efton Reid on the block is potentially going to give us a huge upgrade against those slower paced teams that always give Wade trouble. Having guys like Eason, Fudge and if O’Neal stays healthy will also help in that regard. A lot will depend on Reid’s effectiveness and development once competition kicks up but the pieces are there to counter what the Florida’s of the world are going to try and do to us.

Discipline has been the issue with Wade’s teams last few years. Tonight will be a real test against an experienced team. I don’t like it.

More of the same Looks like an AAU team loaded with talent but no discipline. But only 2nd game. Hopefully they can grow up quick

ULM and Auburn are tied in the second half.:.

Its early. This team won the Sun Belt regular season last year. Good chance they will win it again

I agree. This team is young. And super talented. I think we pull it out but a great test and opportunity to face an experienced team.
