You probably underestimate SW as a business man, he knew Alleva wasn't going to last and that he was up to bat.

People don’t seem to grasp that LSU > Texas A&M

You can talk about resources all you want, but at the end of the day the ceiling at LSU is higher than A&M.

Hell just look at in state competition. Texas has 5 P1 schools in state, Baylor, Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M. Louisiana has 1, LSU. And that’s just the tip of the ice berg.

We have watched LSU with loser coaches for 17 damn years.

Loser? One of those coaches has the highest winning percentage of any coach with more than4 years coaching at LSU and a national championship and the other had the greatest team in college football history. If you wanted to say moronic or idiotic, that is arguable. But loser? They weren't losers, though O may have a losing season this season. Miles never sniffed a loosing season at LSU.

I’m not complaining about results. I am complaining about settling for coaches that are obviously less than what we could have.

If we hire him, would he get rid of the L on the forehead and the “go Tigahs” at the end of every interview?

Jimbo hasn’t developed an elite QB since Winston.

It didn’t.

Is this where you try to convince us that Les Miles and Ed Orgeron are top-notch football coaches? It’s ridiculous. Just stop.

He had Mond and Calzada. The fact that he made Mond serviceable is a testament to his coaching. Whoever wins the job next year between Nuss, Howard, and Johnson are instantly better in his system than anybody he’s had at A&M.

With whom he stuck for 3 years. He was their Jefferson.

Mond was probably similar to Jefferson in terms of talent and ability, but he was light years more prepared. The fact that he was a third round pick proves it.

Consistency. QB play under him would be better than any coach we've had since fricking Saban. If Nuss does what I think he's about to do , and Jimbo comes here? We are ripe for an NY6. Even the playoff with the way the current SEC looks. Jimbo is recruiting great at A&M. He'd lock this state right down. Hes not my first choice but I'd fricking be ecstatic.

Well put.

Most of this fan base would rejoice to go 9-3/10-2 again consistently like the miles days.

You're delusional! Scoff, scoff, scoff, scoff scoff.

Jimbo Fisher with his lame arse very antiquated offense is the reincarnation of Les Miles and his very antiquated offense. Scoff, scoff, scoff, scoff, scoff.

Why would Woodward pay a head coach with a very dysfunctional offense 12 million dollars a year, when Woodward can easily hire Lane Kiffin for half that much. I mean, Scott would have to be as mentally deficient as you so obviously are to do that.

Damn right I'm spoiled. I can't stand Jimbo's offenses. If I can't enjoy it, I may as well tune into a good movie instead. I want the Joe Brady offense or a Lincoln Riley offense or a Kiffin offense. Screw Jimbo.
