The Lake at Harveston will likely be one of the nicest neighborhoods in BR

I mean I’m sure it’s going to be nice but damn let’s take a few step back, it’s god a lot of competition haha.

What do you consider nice? I consider big yards, space between homes, and no sidewalks (walking trails are nice).

Saw this in 225 Magazine. Is Bluebonnet corridor to Nicholson going away?

No, Bluebonnet will continue along it's current path. If you look closely in the picture you posted you can make out the path of the street.

They are planning on making some improvements to Bluebonnet where it goes through Harveston (landscaped median, roundabouts, etc.), but the street itself is not going away.

A Towne Centre type place would do excellent there.

My understanding from the plats and info from developer is its supposed to be a Towne Centre/River Ranch/Perkins Rowe [without Spinosa frickery] hybrid.

Hope so.

The ponds are certainly poorly designed (probably a CSRS special), but maintenance is not an issue at all. The Preserve is a great neighborhood for families. I wish I still lived in there for the neighbors, but we outgrew the house and wife wanted a pool.

It’s a Mike Wampold development. He and John Fetzer do not do shabby.

That's the only thing that gives me a little hope it won't quickly become a shithole with essentially a crowd of loiters that don't spend any money and only cause paying customers to stay away.

Someone told me the master plan was something similar to Seasides Town Center. TIFWIW.

Sounds great....if BR had the same demographics (particularly average income) as Seaside residents/homeowners.
