The Jimbo smokescreen can only mean one thing

Negotiations have started with someone big. No need to shade a hire like Napier or Aranda. If we can take any lessons from the Bianco leaks from the baseball search, this person is likely in contention for the CFP.
It’s Riley or Dabo. Logical conclusion is Riley has countered whatever Woodward initially offered him and shite is about to get real over the next 2 weeks.
Edit: Side note, Riley had a bye week this week…. All makes sense when you put the pieces of the puzzle together.

It's not Jimbo.
LSU is a top job and if it were up to people of this board, we'd accept defeat and hire an "up and comer" or settle for a Jimbo.
Jimbo was a massive hire for aTm because they are small and weak. We are not aTm. LSU has recent national championships. We are a top job and should get anyone we want to if we use our balls.

With Sumlin leaving that program in disarray, I'm surprised Jimbo has gotten them to where they are, especially with QB injuries.

It’s not like Jimbo is the only one who can do this. I think Woodward knows that too. Napier, Aranda, Fickell and others would all pull a championship in 3 years. Riley could walk in and do it next year.

I’m hoping SW learns from O and Miles and hires someone who isn’t going to take his foot off the gas after a great season. That would exclude Fisher and IMO put Aranda high on the list. Aranda is a grinder and people around the program know him better than Tucker.

Remember SW’s Bianco smokescreen brought us Jay Johnson. Not one time was his name mentioned here and after the collective melt people finally got thru the hire and jumped on bandwagon. Don’t pretend that this Jimbo smokescreen is for the big fish only.
