Proud of the boys for bringing it back to Houston. Still have a massive hill to climb.
Seems like most aren't too fond of the decision to start Luis on short rest. Dusty has managed this postseason a thousand times better than anyone would've expected so let's just cross our fingers and hope he gets it right with this one as well
Offense is gonna have to carry us if we are gonna pull off a miracle. Scary thought considering how most of this series has gone, but Sunday night showed enough to give us a little bit of optimism. Everyone knows we are capable, we just have to execute.
Let's frickin go to battle

FTB.
I want another shot at Ian Anderson. From no hitter to no world series. Make it so.

Garcia for 4
Odorizzi for 3
Stanek for 1
Pressly for 1
That is my glass completely full road map to 27 outs tonight

Certainly not fond of it, considering he's so far past his previous high workload on the season.
We'll see though. frick the Braves!

My glass completely full is Garcia regaining some of his sharpness because he's being thrown right back out there. I'm thinking the elements and extended rest might have played a factor to his short outing on Friday. If his stuff is the same and he can regain command maybe we can get 5 out of him. That's a massive ask three days after 75 pitches and a lot of high leverage big spots.
He has to keep the Braves in the ballpark. 12 of their 18 runs have come off the long ball, and TDA, Duvall, and Soler have accounted for 6 of their 8 homers. Can't let those free swinging low contact guys continue to do damage.
On the other side the Astros have only hit two solo homers this series, both from Altuve. Of course when this team is going well they are stacking QAB's and keeping the line moving, but gotta hope at some point someone will run a ball out of the yard with men on base if they continue to generate traffic.

I thought Urquidy would be good to start after only throwing 14 pitches, with Odorizzi behind him to get to the bullpen.
Then Garcia/Greinke/Frambaw/everyone if there's a game 7.

Hellll no. He's done enough damage this series. Keep him as far away as possible.

Going to be a beautiful day here. We won on a day like today!
Garcia is generally better at home.
It's your time, Astros!
LFG!!!

I've calmed down some about Luis. It's not ideal but whatever. Hopefully by the time he empties the tank it's twice through the order and we have a lead. No matter what happens, it's November baseball and that's awesome. LFG.

I am not ruling out getting a plane ticket to Houston tomorrow if needed.

Looking back on game 3, Luis wasn't bad per se. He had swing and miss stuff. 6Ks o
in 3.2 innings but he threw way too may balls. It was a cold, wet night so maybe we can attribute something to that. Gotta hope he's on tonight.

He needs good weather. Remember the snow game in Denver?

The optimist in me thinks he was really uncomfortable in the weather. He was constantly blowing in his hand trying to warm his fingers up. Hopefully that was the control issue. Either way, he's obviously more comfortable at home.
