Please Don’t Start Talking Yourselves into Jimbo

He would be such a lazy and bloated hire.
My TAF donation would be zero after this hire.
Don’t know about y’all, but I was planning a big donation depending on who was hired.

It wasn’t zero after O?

You can’t stop me

Agreed, would be a lackluster hire IMO.
-complicated/clunky prostyle offense
-10 year guarantee, hands tied
-not worth Top2 money for Top15 results
-concerns about culture and off-field problems
-when we inevitably do fire him, is it a Florida St repeat of their dumpster fire?
-retirement payday, what motivation would he have to be the hardest-working coach in CFB?
-has already made it to the mountain top, I want someone who hasn’t and is driven everyday to get there
-"It’s the same offense that I’ve ran since 1993 or 1994," Fisher said in 2017. Yes, that’s a direct quote
-we’d be indirectly “saving A&M” from themselves…we WANT Jimbo there and them to be locked into a 10-year guarantee
*all that said, I won’t cancel my donations like you. I’ll be disappointed at first and then get on board and root for LSU and Jimbo just as I eventually did for O

So you kept paying after they hired Orgeron but Jimbo is where you draw the line?
Some of you people are incredibly retarded.

I'm thinking of canceling my TAF and tickets if the hire sucks, but Jimbo wouldn't be a bad hire. I just don't see LSU giving Jimbo $100M guaranteed.

It was.. haha Although I wrote a nice check for a buyout or two.

Some of you are short sighted and ignorant of the facts. The CEO hire was a package deal with Aranda. Recruiting and defense were locked up; LSU just needed an OC and damn if it didn't work.

Oh please
Jimbo is better than 95% of the coaches being mentioned on this board.

So it will remain zero. Ok
And if we start winning?

Tell us Rich Boy, how much were you going to donate for Tucker?
Posted on 10/29/21 at 9:02 am to deathvalleytiger10
Texas has no state income tax so LSU would have to really up the offer! THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!
Posted on 10/29/21 at 9:05 am to RustyTiger
I’ll give up my 4 season tickets if it’s Jimbo. frick that.
Posted on 10/29/21 at 9:05 am to deathvalleytiger10
Not a penny for Tucker.
I have a list. Name isn’t on that list, zero donations will be made.
I’m not alone.

He left FSU in shambles and has done nothing at A&M to warrant his salary.
Remember that Sumlin beat Bama once too

More than offset by Texas' property tax, especially on that ranch Jimbo owns. Try again.

So you still didn’t donate in 2019?
Posted on 10/29/21 at 9:10 am to IowaCityTigerFan
Once I got a taste of what a LSU team could do in a modern offense..
I can’t go back to pro style. Refuse to go backwards.

LMAO. LSU is gonna be just fine whether you donate or not.

So you did start donating in 2019. Ok. Yeah that’s probably how it works for some. Not surprising.
