I will agree a lot of millenials are insane, but we have also been dropped into a world where our parents could buy nice houses working 40 hours a week at a car factory.

You left out your parents paid Federal Income Taxes and also paid double digit interest rates for a mortgage.

Because of the Child Tax Credit , a lot of millennials are part of the 47%;

Look at the President of the US and the previous President of the US.

Youthful men they are not. Being 77 (time of Biden's inauguration) and 71 (I think Trump was 71 at the time of inauguration) are not millennials.

Older people control the levers of power. Look at any financial institution CEO, corporate CEO, and the senate/house. The median senator is 65-years-old today, which means 50 senators are over the age of 65.

Older people do drive our society.

Ok. You don’t want to see all the young people in the picture and what they represent.

Argue the point and you'll get a response.

You've randomly brought up a press secretary as if she has control over the levers of power. From news organizations to charities, older people are making the decisions.

No. I only brought her up because she’s in the front now.

Just stop.

The millennials, a good chunk of them, are all in.

Boomers were faced with marxists teaching their kids at the tip of the spear.

Most likely didn’t see it coming because as Obama said things aren’t changing fast enough.

The solution? I have no idea.

Its actually easier than you think. Stop going to college. Start learning real skills again. Also, women need to stop getting pregnant out of marriage. Its not as hard to raise a family as people think of done the right way.

Graduate HS
Don’t break the law
Don’t have children outside of marriage (spare me the committed relationship BS)
Stay employed.

90%+ chance you won’t end up in poverty.

I’m sad by some of the millennial comments and i a millennial.

I served 9 years and lived a very modest life and once I got out, I had zero issues making money. It was stupid easy actually.

Maybe it’s the discipline?

Have you ever stopped to consider it being by design? Look abusers enable dependency and gas light to make you think it's you. Now why would Boomers want to raise a beholden generation that's scared of both autonomy and not being a "good" person. theory is they're scared of nursing homes... just you watch. Anyway, rebellion isn't just holding your breath, it's testing your mettle. Part of what's off is millenials, z, and alpha are super studied. Just look at all the articles saying just how you'll be, what you'll do, think, value...so many things could have been seen one way or another but they told ya'll what you thought. Try this on... look at the music, the producers, the movies, directors... all the cultural icons who "represent" your generation... are they in your generation? How bout who got them the limelight? those folks speak for you? they didn't really share your experience. get this: johnny rotten, ozzy ozborne, billy idol, madonna, duran duran, etc.... they are all boomers but they are icons of pop gen x... they aren't gen x. and weirder... the beatles and elvis aren't boomers. i hope you see what I'm saying. i think the others are correct parents are 2 generations back, but look at your generations culture, who packaged that for you? Gen x is kinda weak because boomers hang on and millennials leap forward, besides the numbers just can't match the one two punch. Maybe you can't open a big huge perfect business right off... but you can open a business and if you don't get too underwater, no matter it's outcome you'll learn from that. Maybe they are telling you it's hopeless because they want it all.

maybe, guys like zuck and musk arent boomers.

bezos is like on the cusp of being a boomer at 57 he probably takes a bit from boomers and gen x.

obama is a boomer, Biden is the generation before that since he was born before the end of ww2

so its a mixture of a few generations driving this

Zuck is the only young one.

Musk is 50. The guy may enjoy dating 30-year-old women but he's not a millennial. The guy's older than my Dad.

By boomer, I just meant older than a millennial.

But the median CEO is 54-years-old. They're approaching the retirement years, not just in their late 30s.

I think what bob was saying is that the world created within the social media realm is not "reality". But yes you're right that the reality of the situation is that all too many people do consider it "reality".

IMO, very generally speaking, it's a matter of too much technology and too much information altogether.

But thats not how it works. you are lumping in 3-4 generations doing that.

Bezos was literally born on the cut off year between boomers and gen x. Musk is a gen x. Not saying they are driving everything but both are very wealthy.

And yes, obama, bush are boomers, but biden is older, he is not.

And when the op says clown car i think he meant that because we are the biggest block of voters and consumers rt now. i could be mistaken.

Not that we controlled everything in the country, more that when we do we will just make it worse.
