I agree. I think LSU needs a hungry young coach because LSU will be on a 3-5 year total rebuild after all that has transpired this year with recruiting/quitting/injuries/transfer portal etc. LSU is as low as it can go right now, and paying a coach with a decent past record to come try to fix things 8-10 million dollars is a total waste of money imo. However, a young coach with great energy and aspirations for more than half that salary with incentives could build LSU back as strong as ever. that is why I am leaning to Napier. Saban taught, and proven he can build a program. I say give him the reigns and enjoy the ride rather than paying a fortune and watch a coach rest on his laurels laughing all the way to the bank.

Lsu will pay more but not sure that's because we have deeper pockets. We just care about football.

That is absolutely no indication that it's going to be James Franklin. Zero.

Lol there is so much in those statements that you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. There’s a reason I was so sure on Leigh… and there’s a reason Cregg got fired for it, too. Same goes for the other two, but we got submarined at the end… but I’m sure you already know all this since you bring such quality material to the board on a regular basis

Why won't Lsu go for a top coordinator. It worked out for Other places such as Oklahoma and Ohio State

You have lost your damn mind. A really good coach could have this team competing for a CFP spot in year 2 or 3

I push for Joe Brady to come back on the cheap short term. Give him a chance. He orchestrated the greatest offense the game has ever seen in 2019. No candidate is a surefire slam dunk homerun hire. shite give the man a shot. He earned it in 2019. Coordinators with no HC experience get hired as HC’s at P5 schools all the time.

Yea, I let my 247 subscription lapse a few years ago and life just hasn’t been the same.

Here I’ll translate for you:

‘My life is so incredibly empty I have to resort to pretending to be a very important anonymous person on an internet message board to impress other people just to give it meaning’

quote:

but I’m sure you already know all this since you bring such quality material to the board on a regular basis

If I pay $9.99/month or just post carefully worded cryptic nonsense like you would that be considered quality material?

Well USC alum have 1000times money that bama alum have, but Bama outspends them on football 1000 to one. Big money football boosters willing to spend is what you need.
