Pfizer wants EUA for kids 5-11

So Pfizer is going to the FDA committee today to request Emergency Usage Authorization for it's COVID-19 Vax to be applied to kids 5-11.
EUA For Kids
The kids are hardly affected by covid. Rarely catch it or are symptomatic, rarely get more than mild symptoms, and 138 kids have died from COVID, most of which had co-morbidities.
Yet Pfizer wants EUA to give it to kids. It is laughable to think that this is an emergency situation for kids 5-11. There is no justification for this and the FDA will likely give it to them.
Next step they will be turning the screws to parents to get the kids vax'd. School boards, states, or maybe even an Executive Order from the President.
If an EO can force companies to get employees vax'd, why would the White House stop there with their new found power. What about an E.O. for the Dept of Education to mandate a vaccine for school age kids.

frick them! 500 deaths under the age of 18 since pandemic and I believe the stat was 98% of them having comorbidities.

They are not catching it from the kids. Kids are not transmitting this like adults. Minimal transmission from kids to adults. Transmission from kids to teachers has been studied.
So by your logic, the emergency is not for the kids, but for the teachers?
Wouldn't the parents of those kids have the same concern of catching covid from their kids? Yet they decide to not vax their kids because of risk of adverse effects and it is really unneccessary.
If the emergency is for the teachers, then mandate the vax on the teachers. Since they will be vax'd there is nothing to worry about. You don't vax the least affected group of people.

With the many mutations of the virus it seems likely that these vaccines seem to be on the verge of not just being obsolete but possibly harmful. Children have been enjoying their innate immune protection, why alter that with this vaccine? Makes one wonder why we ever followed any advice from these bureaucracies.
