White flight across the Red River to Bossier has been massive. Good to see these dads are taking the lead here. Should happen everywhere.

According to the story, they want to go statewide.

Honestly, I would bet money that the majority of the 23 people arrested come from fatherless homes.
Some of those brawls are probably territory related (small time drug gangs) and that's just the direction many of these kids living in high crime areas, with no father in their life turns to.
Give those dads props. Its important to have that kind of male presence.

That’s awesome. I know a lot of people have made comments about black families, and these dads are aware. If everyone was honest with themselves, they’d realize that almost every school in the US couple use something like this.
Most educators are women, but similar to home life, kids need men around them also.

This is just a pretty solid all around.

Pretty sure all the Shreveport public high schools (except Byrd, Caddo Magnet and maybe Captain Shreve) are majority black now.
Yep. I graduated from Byrd in 1997 and with the magnet and neighborhood programs combined it was 50/50.
I was at the Byrd vs Haughton game recently. We were shocked but the entire starting offense for Byrd was white. I know demographics haven’t changed that much. Had us wondering if there was some kind of black player revolt.

My daughter lives in Keithville. Her oldest does to Benton, youngest will go to Byrd.
If not, I'll bring her back here for another year. The school system there is disgusting.
