Anybody familiar and like it there? My gf (no pics) has a work trip I'm tagging along to next week and I know little. Suggestions for good food (doesn't have to be fancy), golf, etc... please.

If you are interested in military stuff, the Aramament Museum at Eglin AFB is really cool and free. They have everything from WWII planes to an SR71 and gatlin guns to nukes.

Bijoux is excellent
Mimmo’s has good Italian food and great pizza.
I like Marlin Grill. And the restaurant at Chan’s Wine World is a fun place to hang out.

Love Fat Clemenzas and most people just drive right past it.
Other great options
Pazzo's (don't let the strip mall turn you away)
Stinkys (great BBQ shrimp)
Cuvee 30A (go for happy hour and sit at the bar)
Surf Hut (best crab claws)
Boshamps
Great Southern Cafe
Cafe 30A
Chanticlear is supposedly very good, we have not been yet but have plans to go in a few weeks.
There are many more and then many places you should not enter.

We found (barely) Fubar Pizza on Okaloosa Island and it was some really good pizza. Even better to have with a drink at the condo after a long day at the beach.

I went last night and that was my take. It's in the back of an older condo development and I had some good grouper. I'd go back again, but its not a place I'm going to remember in a top 25.
