Amazing how the left sees no correlation to the gas prices and the shutting down of the pipeline, stopping fracking and ending permits.

And potato-head still thinks asking the oil industry to lower the price is the answer. How did half the country fail econ 101?

No word on how well the green energy is replacing the fossil fuel industry. More roads to hell paved with leftist good intentions.

It’s all part of the plan. Put enough pain on fossil fuel users and bad image on oil companies. More you can make oil companies the enemy the easier people will accept the green new deal

Nope, you gotta leave all that energy under America tucked safely away and never use it. Pay lots of money to unfriendly countries for their energy and pretend that green energy is just around the corner. All we gotta do is outlaw regular energy and green energy will magically result.

- idiots, definitely.

It can't...

Only localized power generation can replace fossil fuels in the next hundred years...these massive green projects are a waste and are destroyed by passing storms.

The pipeline has no impact on current prices, but franking might.

The main reason oil prices are higher is that Brandon won't suck up to the Saudis like Trump did. Like it or not, OPEC still controls pricing.

The Saudis/OPEC hated the energy production of the US under Trump. He used it as a weapon against them Brandon is getting ready to bend over for the Arabs. You really didn't do your research.

Wait for the mandated price controls, followed by long lines at the pumps. It'll be Jimmy Carter 2.0

What's really bad is neither the democrat or republican politicians give a rip about how high it goes because they don't have to pay for theirs. Their gas is paid for by us taxpayers

So cutting our production and no Keystone pipeline has no effect on oil prices?

Supply/Demand is real. Scarcity of a product increases its price. Econ 101.

You have allowed a monopoly with OPEC. Competition from US and Canadian oil would force Saudi prices down to compete.

Econ 102

It’s possible this is is the case, but I don’t think the people behind this are that intelligent. I think it was more the childish variety “stick it to the ones I hate” and then having no plan thereafter. Communists are great at vengeance destruction but are incapable of building anything because they’re immature spoiled brats who have never really had to work for anything their entire lives (like Karl Marx). They destroy and cause suffering, and then basically give you the PeeWee Herman “I meant to do that.” See Venezuela.

There are some raging liberals on my Facebook that are complaining about gas prices. The problem is they're too dense to realize that it's Biden's fault. Instead they wonder post something like, "Why is gas so high in an oil and gas state?" Gee, I dont know, perhaps because the federal government said we can't produce anymore while you were too worried about BLM or your pronouns.

Because if you think that you're not smart

American producers are more than welcome to ramp up production. No one is stopping them.

How do we fix high gasoline prices you ask? Simple. Vote the corrupt tree-hugging liberals out of office. Vote in conservative Republicans. Then install Donald J. Trump as our next President. Then watch this economy take off and gasoline prices fall.

It's that simple.

Let's Go Brandon!!

They really want gas prices to go up. Obama said he wanted gas to go to 7 or 10 bucks a gallon. Biden and his young Marxist handlers are dumb enough to do it.

How can they when their rigs are being shut down?

quote:

The announcement starts the process of permanently ending all offshore oil and gas operations at eight platforms and removing these platforms and their associated pipelines from the ocean. “We’re glad to see this announcement and hope it signals the end of drilling off California’s coast,” said Kristen Monsell, legal director of the oceans program at the Center for Biological Diversity. “The oil industry has wreaked havoc in our ocean for far too long. It’s time for companies to clean up the mess of platforms and pipelines that litter our beautiful marine environment.”
