CDC data finds Pfizer vaccine 93 percent effective against hospitalization for youth
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been found to be 93 percent effective against hospitalization for 12 to 18 year olds, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) research from when the delta variant was predominant.
Researchers calculated the vaccine efficacy using data from 464 hospitalized patients, including 179 with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 285 controls without the virus, across 19 pediatric hospitals between June and September.
The CDC study sought to add to the “limited” real-world data on vaccine effectiveness among 12 to 18 year olds. It concluded the effectiveness aligned with the results of Pfizer’s previous clinical trial that found a 100 percent efficacy against symptomatic COVID-19 among 12 to 15 year olds.
Adolescents have the lowest vaccination rates out of the age groups eligible for the vaccination rate, with 46 percent of 12 to 15 year olds and 53 percent of 16 to 17 year olds fully vaccinated, according to the CDC. Those 18 to 24 years old are not far ahead, with almost 54 percent fully vaccinated.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not authorized a COVID-19 vaccine for children younger than 12 yet, although an advisory group plans to discuss Pfizer’s application for 5 to 11 year olds next week. LINK

How many youth are being hospitalized for Covid now?

Why do we only get info on Pfizer ?

the natural immunity of my 7, 5 and 18 month old was 100% effective against hospitalization in January when we caught it. I think i'll stick with that.

Normally I'd say an n of 464 is low to extrapolate over the population for such a sweeping idea. In this case I bet that 179 is all they could dig up to study. Percentages!

First off, the CDC doesn't "find" jack sh!t. THAT is Pfizer's data that the CDC just regurgitates.
Second, it's total f*cking bullsh!t. Unless they have SEVERE comorbidities, 5-30 year olds rarely even know that they have COVID, much less are hospitalized for it.
Just ONE MORE EXAMPLE of the Biden Reichstag LYING to the American people and the world. If, AT THIS POINT, you really believe that these gene therapy drug work to prevent COVID or hospitalization, you are one SERIOUSLY STUPID MOTHER F*CKER.
The reason that they came up with the COMPLETE F*CKING BULLSH!T after-excuse for getting the jab (i.e., less risk of hospitalization) is because they f*cking LIED to the entire world in the first place about the efficacy of these poisons so they had to LITERALLY MAKE UP another reason why their OWN F*CKING LIES weren't as bad because, according to their PROPAGANDA, the poisons still "help" in other way.
Think about it -- WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO SAY?
Do you think that they'll ever admit that these bullsh!t drugs don't f*cking work AT ALL?
Do you really believe that they would admit that the entire thing was a multibillion dollar SCAM and not only don't the vaccines work in preventing the disease(ANYONE WITH AT LEAST HALF A FUNCTIONING BRAIN CAN SEE THAT), but also that they provide no benefit whatsoever?

My 15 year old has had it as has several of his friends. None were hospitalized with mild to strong flu like symptoms.

There have been less that 500 confirmed deaths of minors with covid. That was as of 2 weeks ago. We have been at this for nearly 2 years.
There is no rational reason to vaccinate children.

I'm sure it was 93% better relative to unvaxxed. But when you're going from 10 kids total to 1 it's not earth shattering news in the aggregate.

My 13 and 15 tear old had it last month. One was tired, the other was congested for a few days. No doctor or hospital visit. Non event, but I'm sure some kid in Bangladesh died from COVID so that is enough evidence to justify all kids getting the shot.

93% effective for a virus that has a 99.7% survival rate. Sounds like we would be better off getting the virus.
