We need to start playing more mid-week games.

We are REALLY missing the ball with this one. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night games are prime time—absolutely zero competition on TV! Why have we not gotten on the bandwagon? TV is where the money’s at. Also we get every ounce of national exposure.
If I’m a recruit and a recruiter tells me half our games will be Thursday night prime time games on TV, I’m in. Kids these days are all about the attention.
I think the sunbelt, specifically ULL, has done really well with this; and if Napier ends up being “the guy” I hope he brings these kinds of progressive ideas with him.

Allow me to be the first downvote

Please turn in your fan card now and go back to ULL. Thank you.

Have you looked in the stands for those games? Nobody goes to them.

Ban this guy. LSU isn’t that low level of program. This is perhaps the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I’d take a purple field before a mid week LSU game.

You are one of the most asinine posters on this site.

The options should be Saturday night game times or 2:30 PM game of the week, period.

You think Napier and the Cajun fans want these midweek games? Its controlled by ESPN and Sunbelt agreement. They make up for lack of fans for midweek games by getting the tv revenue but as a fan it still sucks.

You should be happy y'all ever get primetime. That Tuesday night game was the best thing to happen to SouthWestern in years.

"ULL has done well with this"? Just a guess but from the few times I've watched some of the games, the stands looked half full at best. Which for ULL, means what, 20K or so? Yea, that impresses the recruits.

Agreed. We should get a Thursday night game in here or there. Friday night games are dumb but I feel like a solid Thursday game every couple of years would be decent.

This is either a TOTAL troll job or this is absolutely the dumbest post ever on this board. And that's really saying something....

I believe the last 2 Thursday games were against MS State in 2007 and 2011. I actually enjoy the games, but there is no way possible we could have a home game on a Thursday night because they would have to shut down school for Thursday and Friday.
