Will O ever be a head coach again?

There was an article in the Advocate listing possible landing spots for O in the future and I thought it was a waste of time. I don't see how he ever gets a head coaching job again, whether he wants one or not...and if so, not at a Power 5

Maybe he’ll switch jobs with Billy

I think he could if he wanted to coach a directional school like McNeese or Nicholls. Wouldn’t be surprised if he attached his name to a linemen camp and just did contract work.

I could see ULL or one of LA's or another southern state's regional schools.

Why does he need to be, he is 60 and set for life financially.

If he wants to, he will. Probably not a power 5 school without a stint in a lower school. Sometimes guys decide they aren’t the right guy for and move into analyst, position roles. He’s made enough money to ride out the rest of his career as an analyst.

I gonna say for sure he won't but why would he. O is 60 years old and is going to have 17 million dollars at the end of the season. Don't see any reason to look anymore for he has done what many weren't able to do in his career.

Some team in Florida will hire him.

If you can't win big CONSISTENTLY at LSU why bother hiring him?

doubt it, unless it is a small school like mcneese or something. If I had to guess, I would say he takes a break for a year or 2 then coaches DL somewhere like UCLA.

I’m not trying to insult him in saying this, but his personality is more cut out for the high school game. I think he’d kill it at a school like Hahnville High, East St. John, or St. Amant.

I think he either ends up at an in state FCS school or fills some type of analyst or recruiting coordinator position.
My biggest worry is that Kiffin stays at Ole Miss and brings Ed on to help recruit

only if he's allowed to have pregnant strippers on the sideline.
