Which team has the most insecure fans?

It could either be professional or collegiate.
I'll start, the New Orleans Saints have easily the most insecure fans I've ever come across. Everybody is always out to get them and frick them in some way.
Next on the list would probably be aTm.

Well...we did lose an entire season because the NFL need a scapegoat for the concussion lawsuits. And the "evidence" was a PowerPoint that looked like it was made by a 4th grader, a bar napkin, and a locker room speech that never alluded to bounties.
And then the no-PI call. Followed by one year of PI review that never overturned a call and then back to normal.

Also, of course there will be hard LSU melts around here. It's a fricking LSU board. Go to a Longhorns board, or really any other message board in history, and you'll find melts just as hard if not harder.
Sure, the "ESPN hates LSU" threads are stupid, but every fanbase bas that type of shite.
ETA: If I had to pick one, it'd either be Cowboys fans or Lebron James fans.

Most teams that have experienced success have a lot of insecure fans. More times than not, these need validation.

I do think there is unique kind of self-hate/pessimism or something with LSU. But, I get that all downtrodden fanbases are negative.
Michigan and Texas are formerly arrogant fanbases that just seem beat down now more than anything.
Michigan State had terrible little brother syndrome for a long time. It's not as bad as it used to be for a number of reasons.

In many of our lifetimes minus the 90s, LSU has been great but just couldn't get past Alabama. And then now when we do something amazing like win a NC, Alabama wins 2 for every one we win. With our former coach.
