He has had serious medical issues that I would assume put him in a category that should be vaccinated. I am for freedom of choice regardless of the side you land on.

I took the vaccine LONG before any mandate was on the horizon after a talk with my doctor. I was 50/50 on it before but she talked me into it.
That said, I'm never showing the card to anyone. In fact, I chewed her nurse out when I saw her 6 months later when she asked for it, after already asking me if I'd taken it.
Think of it this way...the issue is not the vaccines, it's the mandate. Same way back in the 60's the issue wasn't skin color, it was the way different races were being treated. I can be for the vaccine (I'm not that much, but for argument's sake let's go with that here) and VEHEMENTLY against mandates of any kind. So in that sense, I stand with anyone who is against forced mandates.
I can't quit my job over it, as I work for myself...but I can voluntarily refuse to patronize businesses that require vaccine passports to enter and refuse whatever "special treatment" these a-hole may have in store for me for having taken the vaccine.

I am....of course I am against OSHA completely and think safety should be a employer and employee decision but
I am against any federal or state or local decision of telling any private company what to do.
I am fine if a private company chooses to enforce a mandate so long as it is competely of free will and void of government benifits.
but frick any government mandate.

I’m against the mandates and I’m vaccinated. From the data and the fact I didn’t get Covid as far as I know, it made sense for me to get vaccinated. If I got Covid, good chance I wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine. If I was in my early-mid 20s I wouldn’t have gotten it. There are very rational explanations not to get vaccinated against this.
