The Coursey/Sherwood area has taken a very sharp downward turn in the last 5 years.

The riff raff are naturally attracted to Daiquiri shops. The new thing is Hookah lounges where they come in droves and hired cops have to be posted up in their squad cars to deter random and senseless violence.
However, shootings and homicides do in fact occur at these Hookah lounges in BR, even with BRPD’s headquarters located not far away.

They had an abandoned business on Sherwood by the Londoner that has become a homeless hotel. The residents in that neighborhood complained for like a year until the city finally came in and kicked them all out. Apparently they had electricity and other utilities still running in the building. I’d bet it’s already back to being full of them by now too

Yeah, I was amazed to see it. There’s even lot construction going on adjacent to the BWW and the people doing the bullshite, revving of their Charger engines were gathered around behind the construction, closer to where the old Italian restaurant used to be.
There was a Friday night, deadly shooting this week, off of Hyacinth Ave. Avis Ave and Bellonia Dr is seeing a lot more violent crime.

I haven't seen any indication that this will ever happen. There is some gentrification in BR but it's 10/1 on areas that are declining vs improving.
